“ Picked up take out from here looking the area over for good good Chinese. Pleasantly surprised by service, interior decor, and food. The ladies that helped me were so sweet, had an overall welcoming energy. The decor inside the restaurant is beautiful, traditional China centric very fancy. The bar seating is that sushi bar type seating, very cool. I ordered Mongolian beef with steamed rice customized adding green pepper. It was cooked well with the slight burn from the Wok on it which I love. It was also a very big portion, I had leftovers. It was also seasoned well and not just bland tasting beef. The only critique I have is to not cook the vegetable too well done, crisper tasting veggies in Asian dishes as opposed to soggy well done veggies are more appetizing. I also ordered the fried spring roll, it was really, really good great ratio of filling to spring roll, It comes with 2 and I feel like I couldve eat 4! I love too that the next day I came by to get more rice since I consumed most of it but still had beef left and the ladies were so sweet giving me extra. Just a tip the white rice portion is super small but it is also not over priced so if you like more of a larger rice portion order extra. Cant wait to go back and try the fried rice and Beef with Tomato and Hot Pot! ”
“ I decided to have lunch at Yens recently based on the number of positive reviews. After eating there, its easy to see why its so highly rated. The food is excellent, the staff attentive, and the experience topnotch. The fruit and yogurt drinks are perfectly blended, and are larger than I was expecting. I had the pineapple chicken fried rice. Again, wonderfully made and a very generous serving. I wish I was going to be in town longer so I could get a few more visits in and try more of their extensive menu. Even if I cant get back before I head home, I have no problem giving them my strongest recommendation. ”
“ First time here and we will be back! The staff were very friendly and efficient. We ordered spring rolls and scallion pancakes for appetizers. For our main dishes we ordered fried sweet and sour tofu and vegetable lo mein everything was very tasty with no need to add extra sauces. ”
“ First and foremost, well be back! Not only did this place get everything right, but there are many things on the menu that I want to try! The atmosphere was lovely and very welcoming. There were large groups of people enjoying a late lunch on Saturday we arrived about 1330. Even though they were busy, we were immediately seated. My hungry husband went about ordering right away his go tos are crab wontons, chicken and broccoli, and egg drop soup. I thought the shrimp toast and shrimp and pork dumplings sounded great. I also wanted to try the salted duck egg and green beans, but I thought that would be too much food. The appetizers were excellent! I loved how BIG the shrimp toast was and how it wasnt too greasy. I loved the addition of ginger to the shrimp, which added to the flavor of the shrimp toast. The crab wontons were crisp and well filled. Our main courses were giant! The chicken and broccoli had a fantastic sauce, and the broccoli was fresh and crisp. The dumplings were thin but held their filling. The filling was flavorful with giant chunks of shrimp of plenty of veggies. To top off the experience, our server was very friendly. She would always check on us and provide refills of water. At the end, she provided a delicious little donut filled with custard. It was very warm and just sweet enough. We appreciated the extra touch and left happy and satisfied. ”
“ Heard about this place for a long time and finally got to try it today. Lots of authentic Chinese style decorations throughout the restaurant. Servers were patient. Every dish was delicious. Quite a few authentic Taiwan style dishes. My mom really liked here. We think its the best one around Ashburn area. We are very likely coming here again. ”
“ I am visiting from NYC and needed to feed my family. We looked up a sushi restaurant and Yens popped up. I am so glad we decided to dine here. The service was great and the food was excellent. We order a sashimi deluxe, naruto roll, shrimp pad thai, pea tips with garlic, chicken fried rice and chicken with broccoli. The sashimi was fresh. The naruto roll was tasty. Shrimp pad thai was perfect. Chicken and broccoli was percect. Chicken fried rice was percect. Nothing was overly salty and fhe quality of the food is perfect. We will definitely stop back if we visit again. ”
“ The employees work hard.. got to try some catered greenbeans , mapo tofu salty, tilapia, soy chicken. Suprisingly good white rice, oyster mushroom and small potatoes. not overly salty or oily compared to similar chinese restaurants. Though cookings more light on the smokey wok i think. Still consistency and quality catering for 80 all the way in chantillyaldie. even threw in some orchird decor. Never seen the chinese congregation so excited for seconds. Anyway poor photos after halfway digging in cant do Yens justice ... Just go ! ”
“ I love this place. My friend recommend this place and he said its very authentic Taiwanese dished. And he is right. My favorite is fried egg with preserved vegetables. Eggplant is also so goodand the fish. Although the fish is called sichuan fish but I think its more Taiwanese style ”
